DEBÉ GUNN, an Award-Winning English & Spanish Songwriter in Pop, Jazz, Broadway, Soul/R&B, Latin (Pop, Reggaeton, Banda, Mariachi, Flamenco) Country and African Pop. one of 5% of women in the Producers & Engineer's Wing of the Recording Academy, originally a saxophonist/music major at SJSU; she performed in and was influenced by many groups; Soul, pop, jazz, orchestras, disco, Chicago blues, rock, Méxican ranchera, Country.  It was the Country band that sparked the desire to become a Songwriter. Those eternally classic Hank Williams, Jr. and Johnny Cash  songs humbled this snob jazz sax player, challenging her to bring her lofty love for jazz and melody down to earth and one day write as well as they could with only three chords and a few strings on their guitar!   She jumped on the piano driven by a desire to express her Truth -- Debé crafts fresh, memorable classic melodies and timeless lyrics for all of those hungry recording artists, vocalists sax players and -- music lovers Worldwide!
